In our series of manufacturer profiles, one of the many manufacturers in Nebraska that we covered was Nestlé Purina.

Located in Crete, Nebraska (just southwest of Lincoln), Nestlé Purina makes many of their pet food products right here in the state. They’re a great manufacturing company to work for, and recently, they opened up a few jobs that we wanted to tell you about!

At their Crete, NE facility, Nestlé Purina is now hiring for a few positions:

• Production operators: Production operators operate production equipment/machinery in a safe and productive manner. This is a basic operations position, and is a 2nd and 3rd shift position, and employees must be willing to work any shift.
• Slipsheet (forklift) operators: Forklift operators load proper quantities of damage free product in a safe manner, and distribute the weight of the product in a proper manner. Same as the position above, this is a 2nd and 3rd shift position, and employees must be willing to work any shift.
• A production data coordinator: For more information about this position, please see . This is a 3rd shift position.

For all positions, the company pays very competitive wages, and offers a full benefits plan that goes into effect on the 31st day of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. They also offer 401K and a pension plan.
