The Thermo King Hastings Plant shipped its first product in 1981. It occupies 234,000 square feet in the Hastings Industrial Park West, and is part of Ingersoll Rand’s Transport Solutions Business Unit.

Thermo King’s Hastings plant primarily manufactures temperature control units for various sized trucks. Products such as engine-powered and vehicle-powered refrigeration units, Heat King thermal units, and bus air conditioning units are just a few examples of the variety of products manufactured in Hastings.

Key processes in the manufacture of temperature control products in Hastings are performed at this plant, including sheet metal fabrication, spot welding, painting, assembly, and testing. And right now, the Hastings plant is hiring for several positions, including Paint, Assembly, Sheet Metal, and 2nd Shift Supervisor. Take a look below for more information about each position:

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Demonstrate ability to read and understand TK prints for specific department.
  2. Demonstrate ability to use measuring equipment for specific department.
  3. Take Minimum Qualifications Test with a desired score of 70% or better.
  4. Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance.
